THE No Xanadu campaigners are organising a mock inquiry on Saturday (April 17) at the Pennington Hotel.
The event, part of an open day at the Bonnywell Road, pub will start at 12 noon.
It will be an opportunity for the public to meet the 'No Xanadu' team that will be presenting the case at the public inquiry which starts next Tuesday.
Chris Maile, representing the opponents at the inquiry, said: " When this campaign was launched there was but one aim to see that this development was put to a public inquiry. We have won that fight, now we intend to win the war.
"The evidence we have seen so far has renewed our vigour with the developers showing the case they present simply will not stand up to the serious challenge we most certainly will be giving.
"The public are welcome to the event to find out unpublished facts about the development, like the snow slopes are designed to accommodate 1000 people at any one time - just showing how big this development is."
