WHEN I was in Blackpool last year I purchased six 500g packets of dried peas with a view to making mushy peas upon my return home.
Unfortunately, I did not remember to ask someone for a recipe so I still have the peas standing on the shelf and I would still like to make some delicious mushy peas, which my husband and I enjoyed so much several years ago when we spent a week in Blackpool together.
Would one of your readers be kind enough to send me a recipe? This would really be appreciated because we enjoyed them, so much.
I have consulted all of my English cook books without success and you are my last hope.
