COULD I thank an anonymous supporter who regularly sends our voluntary group a cheque via the Citizen office.
A cheque has just been received from the woman concerned.
Being a group of volunteers who organise and financially support our branch of the RSPCA, such help is vital and it is always a pleasure to be able to thank the donor. It is surprising how many people wish to help anonymously.
We have no premises which means we have to pay private catteries and kennels to care for the abandoned, injured, neglected animals which come into our care.
Having no premises reduces our overheads but also our profiled.
Should your generous readers wish to know more about our activities they can contact the secretary Janet Hart on (01253) 720658 or myself on (01253) 720357.
