STAN Ternent has plotted two routes to Second Division safety - and believes both are negotiable.
Saturday's 0-0 draw with Bournemouth has left Burnley three points adrift of the manager's 50-point target.
So Ternent is still looking for one more win - or at least for his side to avoid defeat.
"There are four games to go and we need to get a win out of them which I'm sure we will. We'll take more if we can get them but one will be okay," he said.
The alternative is for the Clarets to just keep extending an unbeaten run which now stands at seven games.
"Two clean sheets on the bounce is important and not losing through to the end of season will get us through to where we want to be.
"It would be nice to get to 11 (unbeaten) and that's not an unachievable target," added the Burnley boss.
Ternent was satisfied with the outcome of Saturday's game, even though he felt his side had done enough to beat a Bournemouth side that played it very safe in their bid to cement a play-off place.
"I'm happy with the point. It's a point nearer," he stressed. "We've got a good goals-for column which is equivalent to another point so if we got to 50 that would be equivalent to 51 points. "It's a point gained, it's another step in the right direction and we're undefeated again so I'm happy with that.
"All-in-all it was a pretty good, disciplined performance and the only thing that was missing was a goal.
"It just wouldn't go in for us. It was a good day's work but we didn't have a break where we needed it.
"They kept a lot of the ball but they never got behind us. Paul Crichton never had a save to make and I thought we were unlucky not to win the match."
