LEE Cartwright is rated as touch and go for Preston's automatic promotion battle with second placed Walsall tonight.
The Rossendale-born winger returned to action at Wigan last week, but suffered a recurrence of the knee injury that saw him miss Preston's previous eight league outings. He was also forced to watch as local rivals Blackpool took all three points at Deepdale on Saturday.
Kurt Nogan was on the bench on Saturday, but after coming on to level the score he should start up front alongside loan star Stev Basham tonight.
On-loan Chelsea left-back Neil Clement returns to availability after serving a one-match ban but the returning Dominic Ludden who deputised at the weekend could keep his place.
