FRAN Raftery had a stroke of fund raising genius.
While attending The Unitarian and Free Christian Church's annual general assembly meeting in Southampton he decided to complete a sponsored swim.
Fran, a worshipper at Chowbent Unitarian Chapel, completed 76 lengths of Fleming Park Baths after being sponsored by delegates at the three and a half day meeting.
He raised £240 which will be split between the Unitarian Millennium Fund and Chowbent Chapel's restoration fund.
Fran was a guest with his mother, Mrs Frances Raftery, who was a delegate and is an active member at Chowbent.
He is pictured with Unitarian president Dr Beverley Littlepage and deputy general secretary, the Rev John Clifford.
