ACTOR David Grime reckons he has learned lines in some odd spots.
But last week he came up with a real hot spot - the local sauna!
David plays a sinister secret agent in the St Joseph's Players May production of Francis Durbridge's thriller "A Touch of Danger".
And when, at Leigh's Classic World of Fitness, he bumped into David Hodgkinson, who plays an under-pressure author in the play, the pair decided to hammer out several scenes from the production.
"It seemed odd, discussing mysteries and murders while we were sweating in the sauna," said David G. "But it should help us remember our lines."
The play, with June Lee directing for the first time, is a tense story of spies and lies. It will be staged from May 18-21.
Tickets (£3.50) are avilable from Boardman's in Bradshawgate, Leigh. Patrons may also pay at the door.
