AT 85 spinster Eileen Taylor doesn't make a lot of demands.
One little extra she did ask for was for refuse collectors to wheel out her dustbin which is too heavy for her to man-handle.
But now Eileen, of Wigan Road, Leigh, only gets her bin emptied when she rings in to complain!
Her friend, Sheila Higham, told The Journal: "Eileen's bin hasn't been emptied on time since January. They only empty it when we complain and then they come round on a Saturday.
"Why can't they call on the regular collection day? It's crazy and a waste of time and money."
A Council spokesman said: "We are very sorry about this problem. Miss Higham shouldn't have to worry about this.
"We have told the refuse contractor that the bin must be emptied on a regular basis and hopefully it will be.
"We can only apologise to her."
