SANDERSON Ford's new £1.3million showroom, garage, service centre and after sales department in Burnley has been officially opened.
Ian McAllister CBE, chairman and managing director of Ford Motor Company, was invited to perform the honours and also in attendance were the Mayors of Burnley and Pendle Coun Eric Selby and Coun Colin Waite.
George Skipper founded the company in 1936 and it has been on the Eastern Avenue site for 22 years. In 1993 the company was taken over by Sanderson Bramall.
Sanderson Ford now has 68 motor dealerships and is the fourth largest in the UK.
