Garswood United 2 Warrington Town 1 - Whitchurch Alport 1 Garwood United 3
TWO successive victories mover Garswood into second place in the Mid-Cheshire League.
Goals by Andy Flood and Simon Corns put Garswood in the driving seat against Warrington in midweek.
But Warrington hit back and at the end Garswood were happy to hear the final whistle.
Saturday's game at Whitchuch was a bruising affair. Garswood took the lead through Barry Edwardson, but Whitchurch equalised two minutes later.
But second-half strikes by Simon Corns and Edwardson sttled the issue.
