NEXT meeting of the Sankey Canal Restoration Society (SCARS) will be held on Thursday, April 29 at Raven Lodge Hotel in Church Street, starting at 7.30pm. Guest speaker, Paul Nolan, one of the project officers with the Mersey Forest initiative, will talk about local environmental issues.
