THE Wigan-Angers Twinning Committee is inviting people to join them in France for the long weekend of a lifetime.
Party-goers will join the 11th anniversary celebrations of the union of the two towns.
They will enjoy four fun-filled days at the Angers annual international folk festival.
Ambassadress Nadege Pave said: "The festival is a wonderful event full of colour, music, traditional costumes and other attractions from the five towns with which Angers is twinned, Pisa in Italy, Osnabruck in Germany, Haarlem in Holland, Bamako in Mali and Wigan."
The party will travel by luxury coach from Wigan on September 8 sailing overnight from Portsmouth.
During their stay, trippers will also have the chance to see the Bayeux Tapestry.
Three kinds of accommodation is on offer, a three star hotel, arrangements made by families with hosts in Angers or organisers will make arrangments with host families.
The cost is £135 with a host family, £235 four nights B and B in a hotel. This does not include optional extras such as cabins, insurance and a single room supplement.
The trip has been arranged by Swinley Travel. Bookings and further information from 01942 829772, fax on 01942 245542 or E mail on res@swinleytravel.demon.co.uk
