VOLUNTEERS are being sought to help out at Europe's largest street bike show.
Every year, Rawtenstall becomes a motorbike enthusiasts' heaven when the Rossendale Motorbike Show takes over the town.
Last year the show attracted around 35,000 visitors from all over the world who enjoyed stalls, mini-moto racing, the wall of death and dozens of other attractions. And television's Top Gear presenter Steve Berry handed over cheques totalling £10,000 to various charities and good causes as a result of the success of the 1998 show.
But an event of this size needs many helpers to ensure it goes without a hitch and now show organisers are looking for volunteers to help out.
Individuals, groups and charity organisations are needed to help set up the show on September 24 and 25, be on hand during the show on September 26, and for cleaning up on September 27 and 28.
If you can help on any or all of theses dates ring 01706 215356 or write to Rossendale Valley Motorbike Show, 82 Bank Street, Rawtenstall, Rossendale, Lancashire BB4 8EG.
