ANTI-abortion campaigners staged their annual protest to mark the 31st anniversary of legalised abortions. Protesters holding banners formed a "pro-life chain" at Cravens Brow, Lower Darwen, on Saturday.
The protest was organised by the Society for the Protection of Unborn Children and more than 1,500 protesters joined vigils in 89 towns and cities across the country.
