A MAYOR became a half marathon man as he raised cash for a civic charity.
Pendle's Colin Waite embarked on his first-ever 13-mile run, taking him from West Craven to all the major towns and villages in the borough.
Colin completed the course in one hour 54 minutes and even found time to pop in to the mayoress's charity coffee morning at St John's Methodist Church, Colne.
Colin completed his lone run at Nelson town hall and declared sponsorship had raised around £300 for the Mayoress's fund to support Pendle Stroke Group.
