IT was good to read the memories of K Hunter (Letters, March 30) and Val Donald (Letters, April 15) about the Grimshaw Park and Croft gang days in Blackburn.
I, too, am a third generation Grimshaw Parker and I think a reunion of the old Croft, Long Steps, Frozen Row and the Rec gangs would be an excellent idea.
I am sure we could organise a venue at the Longshaw Unity Working Men's Club where I am a member and there are quite a number of the 1950s and 1960s era from the Grimshaw Park area who are club members.
I am sure we would have lots of stories to swap.
