I CONVEY my thanks to the Accrington Theatre Group for their mayoral command performances of South Pacific.
I was really proud that so many people devoted so much time and effort to help the Mayoress and me in our mayoral theme 'A Celebration of the Arts.'
The production was of the same high standard that we have come to expect from the group. My fellow mayors and mayoresses were really impressed.
Could I also thank the sponsors and everyone involved in whatever capacity. They truly were memorable highlights of our year.
It is impossible and would be unfair to single anyone out connected with the production. However, I must thank Sally Hindle for her creativity and artistry in the dcoupage picture she gave to the Mayoress and me.
