PEOPLE had to dodge a hail of slates which were hurled from the roof of a terrace in Cedar Street, Accrington.
Police had to seal off the area around to protect the public.
A builder working nearby had spotted a group of people acting suspiciously, and police closed off the whole area, with vans and cars blocking nearby roads.
