I SUPPOSE a lot of readers are bored with yet more political letters, but I do think we need some straightforward information before we vote in the local elections.
We need to know which of the parties will do most to make the district a better place for all of us over the next four years. What we certainly don't want are petty squabbles and recriminations over who did and said what in the past.
Our area has seen many achievements and some mistakes. But I want to vote on what the parties are offering for the future. In addition I am certainly not going to be influenced by attacks on individuals, all of whom are probably trying to do their best.
So let's have an end to all the carping, moaning and squabbling. Let us think of the future of the district and vote for the party offering the most constructive ideas.
