JUDGING by the election leaflet I've just had through my door, Cllr Henig must be getting pretty desperate for votes. But for me at least, Labour's new tactics have backfired in a big way.
Labour now claim to be standing on their past record of protecting Coronation Field and Freeman's Wood from development. Yet it is the Labour County Council which wants to build a park and ride car park right on top of this green area.
Then they claim that if we don't vote Labour we will lose our voice for Castle Ward.
But Cllr Henig lives on the other side of the city, which is probably why we see nothing of him outside election time.
Politicians who treat the electorate as if they are stupid deserve to be kicked out by the voters. If this happens to Cllr Henig maybe we will get a voice on the council for a change.
