CROWDS of visitors steamed into Leyland Model Railway Club at the weekend as the group celebrated their 11th annual show.
The exhibition was held in St Andrew's Church Hall, in Worden Lane, Leyland, and featured dozens of models and layouts, both old and new.
Train spotting enthusiasts were also shown a selection of videos, books, paints and kits.
There was even a 3mm scale model of the Leyland station by a team from Macclesfield Model Railway Group.
Officers from the railway police went along and were chatted to children about their work.
The club was formed in 1988 by four friends who used to meet at each other's houses to build model railways.
But due to its expanding membership, they are now looking for larger premises.
