A TODDLER sparked a major alert when she picked up a bloodied needle from a path on a Burnley estate.
Furious residents demanded action to remove the danger after a further 22 syringes were found in a hide-and-seek area in Waddington Avenue.
Staff from Burnley Council's cleansing department collected the syringes, after they were called in by Coun Eric Selby.
