PAUL STEWART, ex-Blackpool, Tottenham and England striker, scored with Year 11 Hodgson High School pupils recently when he presented them with their National Record of Achievements.
But it won't be his last time in the classroom, for the 34-year-old footballer is soon going back to university himself to learn Spanish and Italian.
"Paul gave out a very interesting message and proved that it's never too late to go back to education," commented senior teacher Bill Allison.
"He's given a very valuable lesson to all our pupils."
