WINNER of the 1997 US Women's Open, Alison Nicholas MBE, was the guest of honour at the recent launch of the Emmanuel Christian School Appeal Fund.
The school, at Singleton Hall, hopes to raise £750,000 so that it can purchase its own permanent building to house 100 students and 18 staff.
Alison was proud to be involved in the appeal and stated: "I am delighted to be given the opportunity to add my full support to the Emmanuel Christian School Appeal.
"I strongly believe in the family values and the high quality of education the school teaches and advocates."
Alison offered a free golf lesson, won by Ivan Horvath, at the launch buffet at Blackpool's De Vere Hotel.
