BILLINGE Cricket Club earned their first piece of silverware this season when they lifted the West Lancashire League's Hanson Cup on Sunday.
The game against Winwick had been held over from last season. And there was a further delay when the match at Sutton CC was held up due to a tea interval bomb scare.
But before the break Billinge reached 119 all out with notable efforts from John Dillon and Tom Walsh.
After the 30-minute delay Billinge resumed in fine style.
Carl Stockley and Shaun Middlehurst led the Billinge attack as Winwick were all out for 106.
In the Sunday Section Earlestown's Ian McCue was in fine form with the bat. He hammered 75 as his side reached 235-5 at tea gainst Spring View.
The Spring View batsmen were also in form as they reached 183-6 and a share of the spoils.
In Saturday games Winwick 2 got the better of Goodlass and Merseybus defeated Winwick 1.
