KEEPER John Filan picked up the player of the year award from Rovers' Disabled Supporters' Club (BRDSC) this week and there was also an honour for current team captain Jason Wilcox.
Ewood's longest-serving player was named as the disabled fans' clubman of the year.
The BRDSC will have the benefit of a new minibus from the start of next season. It has been funded by the 'Fair Play' awarded to Rovers fans as a whole for their efforts last season, with a contribution from the club.
FORMER Ewood boss Don Mackay is back in football - with Scottish Premier League club St Johnstone. Mackay has been taken on in a consultancy position, as well as chief scout, and will remain based in this area.
His brief includes overseeing the buying and selling of players for the Perth club and ensuring they do not get caught out by the Bosman rulings.
"I may go up there once a month but the club already knows the Scottish scene inside out and I will continue living here," he said.
ANY season-ticket holders who have changed their address during the winter are asked to notify the club within the next 10 days. That will enable them to receive all the necessary information when ticket plans for next season are finalised.
TICKETS for Rovers' two remaining home games are still on sale. Seats at next Saturday's match with Nottingham Forest (kick-off 3pm) are available at category B prices, £18-25 adults, £10 concessions where applicable.
Manchester United seats on Wednesday week, May 12 (8pm), are also on sale to holders of a ticket stub from any of the home games against Spurs, Leeds or Wimbledon; one stub per one United ticket. Category A prices apply, £22-28, concessions still £10.
FROM next Tuesday morning, tickets for the last Premiership match of the season at Newcastle on Sunday, May 16 (4pm), will go on sale only to season-ticket holders who attended the Southampton away game.
Rovers have been given a reduced allocation because of redevelopment work at St James' Park and fans must produce a Southampton stub with their season ticket to buy one for Newcastle.
If any remain they will go on sale from Monday, May 10, to season-ticket holders, or non-season ticket holders in posssession of a stub from Southampton away.
They are priced £23 adults, £13 juniors. There are no concessions for senior citizens.

THE final Pontin's Premier Division game of the season takes place on Tuesday night when Rovers visit Aston Villa.
Arsenal were the opposition for the Academy under-17 team in London today. Defeat would mean the end of the season for the youngsters.
KEVIN Campbell, the striker on loan to one-time relegation rivals Everton, was voted unanimously as the Carling Player of the Month for April.
Alex Ferguson picked up his second Carling manager of the month prize of the season with Manchester United.
THE Ewood ticket office was open from 9am-3pm today, with tickets for the remaining matches as well as this afternoon's 'live' screening of the Charlton game available.
It will be closed tomorrow and also on Monday, re-opening on Tuesday at 9am.
