A CALL for Clitheroe to thrive and not become a dormitory town for commuters has come from the town's new Mayor.
Coun Patrick Shepherd, who was installed as Mayor of Clitheroe at the annual meeting, said his theme for the year would be the prosperity of Clitheroe, where industry and people were able to live in close proximity without friction.
