Blackburn Rovers' public relations have struck again. After I had spent £63 on three tickets for the Southampton game, inclusive of three x £1 booking fee - which in itself doesn't seem right - it was then announced that the game would be on the screen at Ewood for free for season ticket holders.
When I contacted the club, I was told they could only announce it after the 1,500 tickets had been sold. When I asked about any possible screening for the Charlton game, I was told there were no such plans. I consequently ordered three tickets totalling £78 only to find again that there would be a screening at Ewood.
I would seriously have considered not travelling to London if it had been known in advance regarding the screening.
There is one more away game against Newcastle which, I understand, is being considered for screening. Will Blackburn Rovers FC how- ever, announce this officially before May 5 when the tickets go on sale at £23 each - plus, of course the obligatory £1 per ticket booking fee?
