FIREMEN had to deal with an unusual emergency when they spotted a rogue chipmunk running wild at Blackburn Fire Station. And the cheeky chappie proved to be a real handful when he bit one of his would-be rescuers.
Eventually, the furry friend was apprehended and taken along to the pets' corner at Witton Park Visitors Centre.
But he still proved a handful for assistant warden Trevor Smith, who had to handle him with extreme caution.
