A SECURITY guard is recovering as police investigate a stabbing at an Accrington caravan site which has been hit by three fires in the last fortnight.
Christopher Campbell, 35, of Blackburn, needed treatment at Blackburn Royal Infirmary following the incident at Paintins Caravans, Leyland Street, at around 2.20am today.
Mr Campbell suffered a wound in his right thigh, but was allowed home after treatment.
Detectives are also investigating reports that a guard dog was injured during the incident.
A spokesman for Accrington CID said: "We are investigating an incident in which a security guard at the compound suffered an injury."
