TYLDESLEY swimmers were in fine form at the City of Salford Meet with 11-year-old Kasha Hampson earning the Top Girl award in her age group.
She was clear winner in the 200 freestyle (PB), 100 butterfly (PB) and 100 freestyle, and was second in the 200 IM and third in the 100 backstroke.
Kelly Banner was a double gold winner with PBs in the 14-Year 100 backstroke and 200 IM; she also hit a PB for fourth in the 100 breaststroke, and, in the ladies 200 backstroke, collected her second NQT of the year with a PB.
Khalid Jhugroo won the 14-Year 100 breaststroke and was second in the 100 backstroke and 200 freestyle (both PB & NQT).
He also featured in the men's 1500 freestyle, slashing 11 seconds from his PB for third.
Leanne Watmough, 15, won the 100 breaststroke and was third in the 100 backstroke.
And Jessica rounded off the collection of firsts with a PB in the 14-Year 100 freestyle.
Andrew Hurst was third in the 200 IM, also hitting PBs in the 100 backstroke and freestyle.
Other high finishes from Stuart Carlisle, Jenny Coughlin, Samantha Thompson and Stephanie Thompson.
Reserve finalists were Sarah Wood, Charlotte Steele, Michelle Greensmith, Maria Hampson and Samantha Greensmith, while James Gendall and Mark Hurst hit PBs.
TYLDESLEY SC produced 100 per cent success as the league season started.
In the juniors they beat Royton 61-47; at intermediate they won 162-153 at Failsworth and beat Crompton Classics 180-132; at seniors they thrashed Rochdale 38-2, Atherton (35-5), Stalybridge (37-3), Ashton-under-Lyne (38-2) and Ramsbottom (29-10).
A RARE victory in the Senior Swim League was this week being celebrated by Atherton SC.
They beat Stalybridge 21-19 points with fine performances for Heather Fredrikson, Holly Davies, Hannah Foster, Rebecca Grime, Rebecca Gorse, Andy Grime, Alex Foster, Gerald Prescott, David Sutton and Stuart Taylor.
