DESCENDANTS of inventor Samuel Crompton are repeating a Victorian reunion.
In October 1899 the spinning mule creator's relatives met at Pendlebury and now, 100 years on, his kinsmen are gathering again.
Many of Crompton's relatives have been traced but organisers want to attract as many as possible to the 3pm meeting on Saturday, October 23 at Worsley Court House.
If you fit the bill call Bernard Pennington on 0161 790 4181, Erica Hodgkinson on 0161 790 2795 or the Rev Ralph Marsh on 0161 789 4192.
