SOUTHAMPTON loan hero Steve Basham will sign off as a North Ender when Preston take on champions Fulham in their Division Two finale at Craven Cottage tomorrow.
The 21-year-old hitman has snubbed David Moyes' last-gasp attempt to persuade him to put pen to paper on a permanent deal.
Basham has given Preston's promotion chances a rocket boost with 11 goals during his three month stay at Deepdale.
But his rejection of a full-time move counts him out of the play-off run-in and with Kurt Nogan still on the doubtful list, Moyes will be sweating over his frontline.
Lee Cartwright, David Eyres and Ryan Kidd are all though to have an outside chance while Mark Rankine will hope to pass a late fitness test after missing three matches with an ankle injury.
Tepi Moilanen picked up a neck injury in Wednesday's reserve game, but would not have troubled England under 21 keeper David Lucas for his first team spot.
Squad: Lucas, Alexander, Murdock, Jackson, Ludden, Clement, Gregan, Rankine, McKenna, Eyres, Cartwright, Basham, Macken, Harris, McGregor, Wright Moilanent.
