A 22-YEAR-OLD female victim of a double decker bus crash had facial injuries reopened by a second accident in Carnforth this week.
Kiri Ashworth was hit by the bus two years ago and underwent surgery to her face and mouth.
On Tuesday afternoon the Forton woman was taken to hospital with her mother, Leslie Howarth, 48, and another woman after this week's crash. Their stationary car was in a head on collision with a moving vehicle on Lancaster Road at 2.20pm and Kiri Ashworth banged into the back of the front seat.
It was feared that some of her surgery may have been undone but she was not thought to be seriously hurt.
Leslie Howarth was in the driver's seat and suffered facial and leg injuries. The other woman had slight leg injuries and was shaken.
The driver had slight burn injuries to his wrist thought to be caused by an airbag. The two cars involved were a Volvo and a BMW. Three ambulances attended the scene to take the victims to hospital.
