BURNLEY Football Club fought off Colne businessman Graham White's £1 million-plus bid for control.
The Colne Dynamoes chief shelved his takeover plans after his latest offer, believed to be more than £1 million, was turned down by the Burnley directors at a meeting held in the boardroom of Burnley's accountants, J B Lever's.
