A NEW video featuring drama students from Park High School, Colne, is set to be a hit with local schools.
East Lancashire training and Enterprise Council will launch its new Xtend video later this month.
TV presenter Sarah Cawood introduces the video, which also features local students on the Xtend project and employers like furniture manufacturer Mills and Scott, of Burnley.
The video will be used by schools, training providers and the East Lancashire Careers Service to help thousands of year 10 and 11 students prepare for work.
Xtend offers school leavers various options, including a modern apprenticeship, national traineeship and other work-based training.
Andy Fawcett, ELTEC's training and education development director, said: "The last Xtend video proved very popular.
"It also beat hundreds of other entries to notch up an education award from the International Visual Communications Association.
"We think the new video is even better and we are looking forward to receiving rave reviews from young critics across East Lancashire."
