CAN readers help me trace the descendants of my great uncle, Isaac Hoyle (1853-1935), who lived for most of his life in Blackburn?
His daughters married into the Baron, Bennett, Betts, Bolton and Duxbury families, also of Blackburn and Darwen where, I am sure, many of their descendants must still live.
I have researched the Watson and Ann Hoyle family, of whom Isaac was the eldest son and my grandfather, Thomas Robinson Hoyle, was the youngest of 14. My research is recorded in a book entitled The Hoyle Family Robinson of Lancashire and Yorkshire but, sadly, I have not been able to trace Isaac Hoyle beyond his daughters: Amy Elizabeth, Florence Beatrice, Bertha Ellen, Clara Helena and Minnie Adelaide.
I would be delighted to hear from anyone who is a descendant of Isaac and who may be able to help me fill in the missing link of this Hoyle saga.
