LUCKY Louise Rawlinson has already achieved her career ambition at the age of 19, after landing a top job at Accrington and Rossendale College.
Three years ago, Louise started as an Xtend modern apprentice and worked her way up from office junior to adult programmes administrator at Accrington and Rossendale College.
Louise has also gained a National Vocational Qualification level three in Business Administration with help from Blackburn College.
The former pupil of Moorhead High School, Accrington, decided to do an Xtend modern apprenticeship after discussing her options with East Lancashire Careers Services.
She said: "With Xtend I was able to achieve further, high-level qualifications, but work and earn money too.
"Employment from day one means you get a foot in the door with a local employer and high level job skills training."
Andy Fawcett, ELTEC's training and education development director, said: "Well over 2,000 local young people are looking forward to high calibre qualifications and a career with prospects, thanks to Xtend."
