MORE than 50 jobs are expected to go at a Lancashire curtain manufacturer.
Administrators have been appointed to the Leyland-based Curtina Group which is suffering from a cash shortage.
Accountants now running the business are looking at cost cutting measures, which will include job losses.
The group, which employs 150 staff, had a 20 per cent share of the curtain market but a downturn has led to a 20 per cent drop in turnover.
The firm is continuing to trade as normal and administrators Andrew Redmond and Derek Oakley of Lathams are looking to restructure the business or sell it as a going concern.
"What we have here is a good company with a solid customer base," said Mr Redmond. "I am confident that we will find a way to ensure the business continues."
