COLNE: Three people travelling in the same car were injured in an accident on a busy dual carriageway in Pendle.
Police said a Ford Escort van was in collision with the rear of a stationary Vauxhall Astra van which was pushed into the rear of a stationary Mitsubishi Charisma car in Vivary Way, Colne.
The Mitsubishi driver, Catherine Salter, 49, of St James Street, Brierfield, and her passengers 15-year-old Donna Salter, of the same address, and Kathleen Butterworth, 69, of Furness Street, Burnley, all suffered minor injuries but did not need hospital treatment.
