A CANCER patient's medicine has gone missing and police are appealing for the dangerous drugs to be returned.
A collection of drugs, including morphine, were accidentally left in a carrier bag on a wall in the Slaidburn Drive area of Accrington yesterday and have since disappeared.
A police spokesman said: " We are concerned that they could pose a danger to the finder. Their similarity to small sweets would make them seem especially attractive to children.
"Anyone who finds them is asked to hand them in to any police station or hospital immediately."
