A 43-year-old man who suffered severe arm and hand injuries in a horrific accident at work is "stable" in the Royal Preston Hospital.
Peter Brogan's lower left arm and hand were crushed in a machine press at Channel Master Philips Road, Whitebirk Industrial Estate, Blackburn, shortly after 6pm on Wednesday.
He had been working on the press with a fellow operative at the satellite dish manufacturers.
He was treated at the scene by paramedics then taken to Blackburn Royal Infirmary and later transferred to Preston.
Health and Safety officers are investigating.
