Food is a Number One priority in the mercy mission to help desperate Kosovan refugees.
And YOU can help the Kosovars' plight by donating pasta, sugar, flour, cooking oil, rice, salt and in-date vitamin tablets at drop-off points in superstores in Tyldesley and Atherton.
Charity workers Pat Davies and daughter Maria Rookyard, both of Squires Lane, Tyldesley have arranged for collection bins to be placed at Tesco and Kwik Save, in Atherton, and at Tyldesley's Somerfield and Co-op supermarkets.
Operation Christmas Child is the code name of the latest appeal by compassionate fundraisers at Samaritan's Purse International Limited.
Pat explained: "Food is vital to ensure the refugees' survival. Please try to help us help them by donating supplies."
Anyone who has difficulty getting to the collection points should ring 01942 883123 or 886084. Pat can be contacted at 31 Squires Lane.
