RAIN at Stanley Park robbed Preston of any opportunity of a third consecutive victory in Division One of the Vaux Northern League.
Manoj Parekh, the Preston captain, won the toss and put Blackpool in to bat.
Robin Bracewell and Chris Cornall put on 43 for the first wicket before the latter was bowled by first change bowler Roger Kaye for 28.
Bracewell and Gavin Armstrong added 75 runs for the second wicket in 52 minutes before Gavin Armstrong was run out for 46.
Bracewell and Jabir Namajee took the score on to 184 before Bracewell was caught by Manoh Parekh off James Anyon for 70.
Bracewell's innings included 7 fours.
Blackpool captain Rudra Singh hit sixteen runs off Manoj Parekh's last over and the home side's innings ended on 210-4, although he runs out Namajee with the score on 191-4.
Singh remained undefeated with 25 but his partner Paul Danson didn't open his account.
In reply, Preston were 22 without loss when rain brought a premature end to the match.
Paul Mann was 14 not out and his brother Anthony was on 8.
