THE FIRST British solo exhibition of work by international artist Dryden Goodwin will be at the Mid Pennine Arts Gallery, Burnley, from Saturday, May 29, to July 10.
A preview will be held on Friday, May 28 from 7.30-9pm.
Mr Goodwin is regarded as a leading light among the younger generation of artists working in film, video, sound and installation.
Recent exhibitions include a solo show at the Galerie Frahm in Copenhagen and commissions for the Pandaemonium Festival in London. His work has also been screened at festivals in Melbourne, Rotterdam and throughout the UK.
Marketing officer at MPA Kary Spencer said the launch of his first solo exhibition in Britain was a major coup for East Lancashire.
Mr Goodwin will also run one day workshops at Accrington and Rossendale College, Rawtenstall centre for students in year 10 and above.
