MORE new homes could be built in Colne if plans get the green light from councillors.

Developer Lovell Partnerships wants to build 36 houses, equally split between semi-detached and detached, plus access roads on land off Knotts Mount.

A planning application has been submitted to Pendle Council and is due to be discussed by its Colne area committee on July 1.

A number of new homes have been built in the area by other developers over the past year.
