A MAN aged 30 was due to appear at Burnley Magistrates Court today charged in connection with an incident in which a young woman was allegedly held prisoner in a house.
The man, who lives in Bury, was due to face unlawful imprisonment and assault charges.
The charges follow an allegation that the woman was held against her will at a house in Southfield Street, Nelson, for up to 12 hours, on May 8.
Two people have already appeared in court charged with unlawful imprisonment and assault.
