IT APPEARS Stephen Cummings (LET, May 11), is living in some sort of time-warp dating back to the 1970s when he talks of a mutual hatred between Rovers and Burnley fans.
Certainly, long-standing supporters like myself remember only too well some bitter local derbies, but the fact is that the clubs have not met in a generation.
No, the truth is, Mr Cummings, that Rovers fans nowadays regard Burnley with something far worse than hatred - indifference.
Rovers have bigger fish to fry these days.
