I SEE Cummings has finally got it off his chest. After several weeks of sniping at Rovers' expense he now devotes his entire column (LET, May 11) to Blackburn Rovers.
Why we are exposed to his childish drivel in the Darwen edition of your newspaper is anyone's guess, but I would have thought he would have been too tired to write that week's column anyway, on two counts.
Firstly, celebrating Burnley's escape from relegation themselves against such massive clubs as York, Northampton, Lincoln and Macclesfield.
Secondly, celebrating the passing of the 20th anniversary of April 14, 1979 - the last time Burnley beat Rovers in the league.
