A second youth has been arrested in connection with an incident in which 17-year-old Peter Mee was stabbed in the chest.
Peter suffered a punctured lung and is in Burnley General Hospital where his condition was today as "critical but stable".
The incident happened in the garden of his house in Venice Avenue, Burnley, at about 3.30pm on Sunday.
A sixteen-year-old youth was arrested and has been charged with common assault.
The second youth was arrested yesterday. He is being questioned but has not been charged.
Police said they were still looking for a third person.
